A prestigious development
In October 2017, Hôtels & Préférence was acquired by Groupe du Louvre, owned by Jin Jiang International, the second largest hotel group in the world and leader in tourism in China. At the start of 2018, the chain added an additional string to its bow by acquiring the prestigious TemptingPlaces label, a collection of the most beautiful boutique hotels around the world, offering unique and exclusive experiences, guaranteeing quality and originality.
Hôtels & Préférence’s career is punctuated by notable achievements. Since its launch in 2000, the channel has continued to climb the ranks of excellence. In 2001, she unveiled her website www.meetingpreference.com, thus facilitating access to her treasures of elegance. It was awarded the prestigious title of Best International Hotel Guide in 2003 and 2004, recognition of its incomparable know-how.
In 2005, the launch of the Club Préférence loyalty program marked a major turning point in the chain’s history, allowing travelers to benefit from exclusive privileges. The conquest of the Americas began with the opening of the office in the United States that same year. Hôtels & Préférence innovates again in 2006 by launching its Gift Boxes and Cards, real invitations to escape and sensory experience.
The years that followed witnessed the international recognition of the channel, symbolized by the Gazelle Prize awarded by Dominique de Villepin, then Prime Minister, in 2006. Hôtels & Préférence expanded its influence in 2012 with the opening of its office in Shanghai, marking its entry into the booming Chinese market.
In 2016, the channel unveiled its new website, offering an intuitive and immersive user experience, demonstrating its desire for permanent innovation. The following year, the Louvre Group and Jin Jiang International strengthened the position of Hôtels & Préférence as a benchmark in high-end hotels.
The year 2018 saw the acquisition of the TemptingPlaces label, a selection of the most beautiful Boutique Hotels in the world, a union which enriches the range of possibilities offered to travelers in search of unique discoveries. Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2020, Hôtels & Préférence continues to embody hotel excellence, offering unforgettable memories to all those who stay in one of its establishments.
